About Me

Victoria Guralnik
Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant
I know exactly what you’re going through right now, how exhausting the sleepless nights are, the endless cycle of putting your baby down only for them to wake as soon as you pick up a fork, being nap-trapped for hours, and not having time to do anything else. I’ve been there too. Being so sleep-deprived you feel almost drunk from lack of rest, while still needing to function and care for your little one (often with little help or support) can feel completely overwhelming.
I know what it’s like to worry if your baby will ever sleep through the night, to feel guilty for wanting a few hours to yourself, and to wonder if you’re doing something “wrong” as a parent.
I also know the relief and joy that comes when sleep finally starts to happen, when your baby can fall asleep calmly and independently, and you can finally rest and reclaim some energy for yourself.
I’ve been through these struggles personally, and that’s why I became a certified pediatric sleep consultant. I wanted to be the support I so desperately needed - the guiding hand, the calm presence, and the step-by-step help for parents navigating this challenging, exhausting, and emotional journey of helping their little ones sleep.
I’m here to help your baby sleep, and help you rest too, while giving you reassurance, practical guidance, and confidence every step of the way.
My Approach
I approach sleep from multiple angles:

-
Overall schedule
-
Routines
-
Sleep environment
-
Sleep associations
In my opinion, you can’t just start a sleep training process without addressing all these areas at the same time. Small, consistent adjustments in each of these areas often lead to big improvements in your child’s sleep.
I also want to be clear about one thing I hear often from parents: I do not support leaving your baby to “cry it out.” I will never ask you to leave your child alone to figure it out themselves - and honestly, if that’s all you want, you don’t need a sleep consultant.

Instead, I create a plan that teaches your child how to sleep gently and with minimal crying. Of course, some protest is natural - crying is how babies communicate and express discomfort or displeasure. But when we work together, we’ll minimize crying as much as possible and make sure your little one goes through the process with your comfort, guidance, and support. Many parents are pleasantly surprised to find that in some cases, their babies learn to sleep without any crying at all.
Sleep is a skill, and my philosophy is to help your child learn it calmly, safely, and confidently - while keeping you informed, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
